Blood Drives at the Y

The Mankato Family YMCA hosts Red Cross Blood Drives throughout the year that are open to the public. The need for blood donation continues to be high. Find upcoming Blood Drives by calling 1-800-RED CROSS or going to www.redcrossblood.org and enter sponsor code: YMCAKATO.

Annual Mankato Family YMCA Golf Tournament

Join the Mankato Family YMCA for our Golf Tournament on the second Monday of June at North Links Golf Course. This annual fundraiser benefits the many programs that take place at the Y throughout the year. Fees include a round of golf, cart, lunch, dinner and prizes. STRIDE Challenge 5K

The STRIDE Challenge 5K takes place in November and helps provide scholarships for participants of the Mankato Family YMCA STRIDE program. The STRIDE program encourages boys to exhibit excellence in character, make healthy living choices and build confidence.

Diamond Dash Family Fun Run/Walk

The Diamond Dash by Exclusively Diamonds is a sunset family 2.9 mile fun run/walk through the Kiwanis Holiday Lights at Sibley Park. This event takes place in early December each year.

Y’s Club Corn Roast

The Y’s Club Corn Roast is the perfect event to get your fill of Minnesota sweet corn. This annual event helps support quality youth programs in the community. The event takes place in August.

Y’s Club Christmas Tree Lot

The Y’s Club sponsors a Christmas Tree lot on the corner of Madison Ave & Victory Dr in Mankato. Money raised goes to fund youth equipment and camp scholarships at the Y. The tree lot is open in December and is open until they sell out.

Patterson Plunge

The Patterson Plunge is our newest event that helps raise money for camp scholarships, camp staff trainings and camp facilities upgrades. The plunge takes place in February at Lake Washington.
